Rosemary Richmond, 93, passed away peacefully at Garnet Hill Nursing Home in Wylie, Texas on January 2, 2020. She was born on May 27, 1926 in Dallas, Texas to J. Vernon Miller and Katie Irene Cox.
She is survived by daughter Melinda McPhail and husband Dr. Melvin McPhail of Wylie, Texas; Grandchildren Brett McPhail and wife Jaime of Wylie, Texas. Adam McPhail and wife Holly of The Woodlands, Texas and Jessica Jayne McPhail of Dallas, Texas. Great-Grandchildren Emma, Mallory, Sadie, Joshua and Andrew. She is also survived by Nieces Cathy, Melissa and Merilee, and Grandson Mark Morris and wife Taryn and Great-Granddaughter Grace.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands James L. Warren and Benjamin S. Richmond. Brothers; Kenneth and Robert Miller.
Rosemary was a devoted homemaker who was active in her church. She was an avid reader, especially of Historical Novels. She was known as Gigi, to her Grandchildren. She and Ben (Dede) traveled extensively in the U.S. and enjoyed seeing many historically important sites. Rosemary excelled as a seamstress and as a young woman was a good golfer. Everyone enjoyed her keen sense of humor and she was a friend to many.
