Rosemarie Whatley

May 6, 1930 — May 21, 2015

Rose Marie Whatley
Born: May 6, 1930
Port Washington, New York
Died: May 21, 2015

At the time of death, Rose Marie resided in Garland, Tx.
She is survived by her two daughters Joy Waldron, and
Michele McRight. Son-in-law Michael Waldron, two
granddaughters, Kamilla Shea Klinger and Raya Roll.
Grandson-in-law Jason Roll. Three great-grandsons
Nicholas and Trenton Klinger and Dominik Roll. One
great-granddaughter Jayda Joy Roll.

Rosie, as she was known by all, was a cancer survivor.
Her favorite and personal Saint was and I'm sure still is,
St. Jude of impossible tasks.

Although born in New York, her dream was to make her home in California. She left New York at the ripe old age of 17, along with baby Joy and moved to sunny California.

While living in California and then in Texas, her greatest joy was being with family, friends and racing her beloved whippets.

She loved to travel and went on numerous wonderful trips with Joy and Michael. Rosie and Michele shared a great love for their whippets and found pure joy in raising and racing their four-legged kids. They raced all over the U.S.A. and Canada, with an occasional stop at a local casino wherever possible.
Her passion, tenacity and zest for life was undeniable.
