Ronnie Dale Brock, of Rockwall Texas passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving wife and children on November 24th, 2024. Ronnie was born on July 22nd, 1957, to Tommie Hayes in Dallas, Texas. He was the oldest of two children.
He graduated from Seagoville High School. He joined the US Army, after serving he then went on to attend a post-secondary college where he graduated with a degree.
Ronnie was married to the love of his life Jennie on August 15th, 1998; they were married for twenty six years and have four children. Jennie was working at Ronnie’s favorite bar when they met. Depending on who you ask, she made the first move and wore him down to finally go on a date with him and the rest is history.
He worked in the construction industry for forty years. Together with Jennie twenty years ago they started an environmental consulting company with their combined knowledge of the construction industry and environmental compliance they became successful business owners. Through their business they instilled in their children the values of hard work, perseverance and dedication.
Ronnie was known as the kindest, most fun, and hardest-working person anyone had ever met. He would do anything to help anyone in need. Ronnie would give everyone the benefit of the doubt and he always rooted for the underdog.
He had a passion for many things; his family, cooking, working, hockey in that order. He always had time for his children and grandchildren and maintained amazing relationships with them. Ronnie involved his children in everything he did, later on he also involved his grandchildren. He taught us that honesty, kindness and hard work was the best virtue a person could have. Ronnie was not only a kindhearted father but also the most loving husband and grandfather a family could ever ask for. His wife, children and grandchildren will miss him dearly.
A father like you is rare, one that’s so generous, smart and kind. A father like you is what everyone needs, full of smiles and laughter, always doing great deeds. Nothing can replace a father like you, but when you get to heaven, God will be lucky to have you too.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Jennie, his children; Ashlie Brock of Forney Texas, Jerod & Megan Brock of Franklin Texas, Melonie Oester of Royse City Texas, NiKole Brock of Fate Texas, Clayton Thompson (great nephew) of Rockwall Texas, his mother Tommie Hayes of Seagoville, his sister Rita Wry of Seagoville Texas and grandchildren; Kadence, Kyzar, Rudder, Gracelyn, Luke, Roni and Easton.
