Ronald Lee Medlock

Ronald Lee Medlock, age 71 of Murphy, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2018. He was born on February 23, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to Howard Medlock and Kathryn Virginia Field. Ronald wasin the army security agencywho worked as an engineer for most of his life. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Collin County who enjoyed cooking and volunteering as a Boy Scout leader. Ronald led men's ministry and was a soccer coach and referee. He enjoyed square dancing during his adult life.Ronald is survived by his wife, Helen Medlock; his sons, Scott (Tiffany) Medlock and Michael Medlock; his daughters, Melinda Thornburg, Shannon (Terry) Trim, and Paige Medlock; his grandchildren, Kirstie, Brennan, Rylea, Malakye, Preston, and Winnie; and his brother, Howard Medlock, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Chapel in Sachse, Texas.
