Rogelio Ladrido, 74, of Wylie, TX and Anchorage, AK, passed away on March 20, 2021.
Roger was born on May 7th, 1948 to Isidro and Avelina Ladrido in San Felipe, Zambales Philippines.
After graduating in 1961 from Columban High School and attended Guzman Tech, he met and married his wife, Leonila in 1971. That was the same year he joined the Philippines Merchant Marines. In 1977 He moved to Hawaii and joined the U.S. Army. In 1978 he moved to Alaska and made it his long-time home, where he transitioned to the National Air Guard until retiring in 1997. From 1981 he was employed with the United States Postal Service, where he also served as a Union Steward until retiring in 2007.
Upon retiring he made Alaska, Texas and Philippines his home. He loved keeping busy by renovating/adding to the houses he owned, restoring vehicles, dipnetting the Kenai River, and his most favorite – going to the Casino.
Roger was predeceased by Isidro and Avelina Ladrido. He is survived by his wife, Leonila Ladrido, his children Ronald Ladrido, his wife, Tina Vo Ladrido; Randy Ladrido, his wife, Denise Thomas; Vivian Ladrido Barcelona, her husband Brian Barcelona; And his grandkids Anjoilyn Vreeland, Auston Vreeland, Arianna Vreeland, Dylan Ladrido, Payton Ladrido, Ailani Barcelona, Kaimana Barcelona, Grayson Ladrido, Cameron Ladrido, Charlotte Ladrido.
