Robert Earl Yates

Robert Earl Yates Jr. was born on August 28, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas to Vi Haviland Yates and Robert Earl Yates. Rob is survived by his wife, Ann Yates, his mother and her husband, Vi and Fred Flippin, his sister and her husband, Mitzi and Gram Pankratz, his son and his wife, Bryan and Mary Yates, his daughter Brandie Yates, and his daughter and her husband, Gloria and Mike Dembinski, and Rob’s precious grandchildren, Haley, Victoria, Bennett, Weston, Zachary and Julianna.

Besides his family, Rob’s passions were his friends, golf, motorcycles and firearms—not necessarily in that order.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Charles W. Smith Funeral home located at 2925 E. 5th Street in Sachse, TX.
