Richard "Dick" Franklin Wyatt

November 4, 1956 — July 15, 2021

Rockwall, Texas

Richard (Dick) Franklin Wyatt was born November 4th, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, son of Bob and Peggy Wyatt.  Dick passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, July 15th, 2021, at his home in Rockwall, Texas.  He graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1975.  He married the following year and had three boys, Corey Wyatt, Caig Wyatt and Cale Wyatt.

In 1986 on a whim Dick purchased a swimming pool supply store in Lake Highlands where he was introduced to the swimming pool world.  Then in 1989, he started his own swimming pool construction company (Lake Pointe Custom Pools).  It was a long journey, but eventually all three of his boys worked side by side with him, running a highly successful business.

Dick had a great childhood growing up in the outdoors with his father, Granddaddy and uncles learning to hunt and fish near Brownwood, Texas.  In 1980 he got on a hunting lease with a few friends.    He quickly gained a strong love for hunting, teaching his kids along the way.  In 2000, he purchased his own ranch, where he loved to spend most of his free time.  If he wasn’t mowing food plots or taking somebody hunting, you could find him watching his deer from the porch of his ranch house.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Wyatt, 3 children Corey (Stephanie) Wyatt, Craig (Danielle) Wyatt, Cale (Nicki) Wyatt; 8 grandchildren Cora Wyatt, Storey Wyatt, Stevie Wyatt, Raylen Davis, Jolin Davis, Tamara Wyatt, Conley Wyatt, and coming in February Stryker Wyatt; sister Betty (Rick) Hart and niece Jessica Hart.

He was preceded in death by his father Bob Wyatt and cousin Jaime Miller.
