Richard Dean Golden

Richard Dean Golden of Wylie, Texas passed away on July 26th, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born to Francis Leroy and Mary Emma Golden on March 28, 1938 in Oklahoma City. He grew up in Southern California and was a Texas resident for most of his life. His family includes wife of 55 years, Connie Golden; his daughters Carolyn Caudle and husband John, Sharon Willingham and late husband Steve, Carrie Mc Lemore and late husband Gary, Mychelle Gray, and Charity Wagner and late husband Conrad; and his son Isaac Golden; brother Leroy Golden and late wife Nora; sister Donna Henderson and late husband Bill; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

Richard was dedicated to providing for his family and was known for his strong work ethic. He was blessed with a large family that continues to grow. Richard was strong in his faith and was grateful for the Lord’s goodness and mercy in his life.  

A memorial service will be held, Monday, July 31st at 2:00 p.m., at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2343 Lake Rd, Lavon, TX 75166.
