Richard Carnell DeVore

Richard Carnell DeVore, 76, of Bedford, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014. He was born in Buna, Texas on April 22, 1938 to his parents, Clyde and Vivian DeVore. Richard is survived by his sons, Douglas (Lynn) DeVore and Elton (Tina) DeVore; his sister, Billie Jeanne Clark; his long time partner, Judy Saunders as well as 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his wife, Nadine Drew DeVore; his daughter, Lisa DeVore; his brother, James DeVore and his sister, Nellie Parkinson. The family will receive friends at a visitation to take place on December 12, 2014 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 660 Hwy 380, Princeton, Texas 75407. A funeral will follow immediately at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas.
