Rhonda Mae Waters, of Nevada, TX, favorably known as Sissy, left this world suddenly on August 11, 2021 at the age of 63 due to natural causes. She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Rhonda was born on November 16, 1957 in Covington, KY to Helen Davis who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children; son, Jamie Saylor and his wife Julie of Plano, TX, daughter, Bink Vinzant and her husband Jonathan of Goldsby, OK and son, Storm Phillips of Garland, TX. She is also survived by her dad, Barry Walker of Nevada, TX; brother, Jed Singleton and his wife Robbie of Garland, TX; sisters, Tanya Day and her husband David of Caddo Mills, TX, Tamie Carter and her husband Torrey of Garland, TX and Holly Caldwell and her husband Wayne of Nevada, TX; grandchildren, Jayden, Kobe, Kylie, Cade, Landen, Easton and Cash; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Rhonda, Mom, Sissy or Sis – No matter what you called her, when you called upon her, she was always there with some freshly picked flowers she found for you along the way. She lived a life of service and enjoyed helping those in need. Her greatest joy was helping the elderly and the young. She often put others before herself to a fault. Her giving nature, humor and laughter will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 28th at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home at 2925 5th St, Sachse, TX. If any are moved to offer flowers, the family is requesting wildflowers as they were her favorite.
