Renee Louise Truncale

Dr. Renee Truncale of Nevada, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born November 5, 1955. She spent 34 years educating children, including 22 years in the Wylie ISD where she served as the principal of Akin and Cox Elementary schools and then the Director of Special Services.

Visitation is Thursday, May 3rd at Charles W. Smith and Son Funeral Home in Sachse, TX from 4:00PM – 6:00PM. A celebration of life will be Friday, May 4th at 10:00AM at First Baptist Wylie.

She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Pete Truncale of Nevada, TX; and their son, Brad Truncale, his wife, Amanda and two grandchildren, Rylee and Eli; stepson Chris Truncale; parents Russell and Jacquelyn Instine of Henderson, TX; and two brothers Rod Instine and his wife Carole and children Blake and Chris of Henderson, TX and Randy Instine, his wife Sharen and children Hunter and Landon of Prescott, AZ.
