Raquel Lopez Martinez

Raquel Lopez Martinez, age 68 of Wylie, TX, passed away on August 19, 2016 in Garland, TX. She was born on October 16, 1947 in Laredo, TX to Geronimo and Calixtra (Lopez) Martinez. Raquel married Anibel Davila on December 31, 2004 in Lancaster, TX. She worked as an assembler for Nova Magnetics in Garland for 17 years and was a member of the Christian faith.

Raquel is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Rodriguez and husband, Jorge, Vivian Shaw and husband, Billy, Lorena Martin and husband, Steve; sons, Jimmy Peters and Frank Peters and wife, Angie; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Geronimo and Calixtra Martinez; brothers, Samuel Martinez and David Martinez; sister, Naomi Martinez; and granddaughter, Crystal Martin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Chapel in Sachse.
