Ralph George Scharnhorst

Ralph George Scharnhorst was born December 6, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, Texas. He was a resident of Mesquite, Texas for three decades. He joined the Marine Corps at the age of 17. After completing training he served overseas in Vietnam. After returning home, he mastered his craft in many different areas - no order ever being too tall to handle. He enjoyed shooting down at the river with his friends, riding four-wheelers, having friends and family over at the pool, and a cold Coors Original after a hard day’s work.

Ralph is survived by his son, Daniel Scharnhorst; brothers, Gary, Jeff, Chris, and Don; and sisters, Janis, Cherlyn, and Kerry. Two sisters in law, Billie Hassey and Shirley Boyer.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Debra J. Scharnhorst.
