Phyllis Eileen Turlington

Phyllis Turlington was born on January 17, 1945 in Ranger, Texas. She passed peacefully from her battle with lung cancer on February 12, 2017. She reunites with her husband, Reuben, and daughter, Angela. She spent her childhood growing up in Ranger, Texas along with her two sisters, Teresa and Kathy. She spent 43 years with her husband, Reuben, until he passed of lung cancer in 2007. She gave birth to one daughter, Angela, who also passed of lung cancer in 2015. She spent many years working for Texas Instruments until her retirement. She is survived by her sisters, Teresa Rogers and Kathy Steward; her granddaughters Ashley and Amanda; her great-granddaughter Mary-Lee; and brother and sister-in-law H.G and Yvonne; her many nieces and nephews; and her many friends.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 26 at 2 PM at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas. Please join us for refreshments at our home at 815 Bonnie CT in Allen following the service, so that we can remember Phyllis for the loving woman that she was.
