Phillip Allen Tull

Phillip (Phil) Allen Tull, 61, a follower of Christ was called by the Lord on December 18, 2019. Born and raised in Houston, he moved to Dallas in 1985. He was a virtuoso musician and loved playing the guitar which he started playing at the age of 8. Phil was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Sachse where he played in the Praise band. It was what filled him with Spirit, and he looked forward to it every week. He was a very proud parent of his two daughters, Marissa Ann of Maryville, Tennessee and Miranda Leigh of Dallas, Texas.

He is survived by his beautiful daughters; Marissa and Miranda, his brother and Sister-in-Law, Tony and Jennifer Tull and nieces and nephews Justin, Josh, and Nick Tull, Courtney Gore, Paige Taylor, Katie Tull, 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews. He is also survived by Aunt Betty Chambliss, cousins Connie Smith, Mary Coutu, Rhonda Weaver, Rachelle Fleissner, Brian and Gregg Tull, and nephew Jason Tull.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Stella Simpson, his father and mother Leonard and Constance Tull, brothers Stan and Michael Tull, and his Aunt and Uncle Don and Carolyn Vanmeter, Uncle Joe Simpson, Uncle Frank Chambliss, and Cousin Kent Chambliss.

Phil will be missed by many, but we rejoice in knowing one day we will be reunited in the promise of everlasting life from Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
