He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter A. and Josephine Rasmussen.
Pete is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Rasmussen; his son, Tyler Rasmussen; three granddaughters, Haley Rasmussen, Carly Rasmussen and Ashley Rasmussen; his sister, Alice Wingfield and her husband, Gus; his brother, Eric Rasmuseen and his wife, Medi; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend of 60 years, C.T. Kilway.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 13, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 2925 5th Steet, Sachse, Texas 75048.
