Peter Gregory Jansen, age 51, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday evening, June 8, 2011.
A loving father and dedicated husband, Peter and his lovely wife, Andrea, married in 1983 and moved to Texas in 1985.
Peter worked in the computer software industry and enjoyed his passions: music and motorcycles. Peter’s outstanding musical talent will always be remembered by his friends and family. Second only to his music, motorcycling was a wonderful way for Peter and Andrea to escape on weekend getaways with other biker couples.
Peter is preceded in death by his mother Helen and father Guenter Jansen. He is survived by his wife Andrea, daughters Angelika (21) and Christiana (19); brothers Werner and wife Gil, Christopher and wife Debbie and Wilhelm and wife Angela, nieces and nephews, Adam, Brandon and paige, step mother Herge Jansen.
The Jansen family attended and served at the Allen Family of Faith, Jerry Reynolds, pastor. He was the worship leader for the church, giving his talent back to the Lord.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12 at 4 PM at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home in Sachse, TX. Visitation hours will be prior to the service, 12 P.M. Til service time.
Interment will be at the DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 14th at 9:45 AM., Dallas, Texas.
