Paulette Lafon entered this world on August 26, 1945 in Durant, Oklahoma, and entered Heaven to meet her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2018. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was lovingly known as "Gaga" by those that loved her most.
Paulette was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Wayne Lafon; her parents Plas and Dollie Mae Williams; five sisters and one brother.
Paulette is survived by her devoted husband, Merle Lafon; two daughters, Kelly Jackson and her husband Billy; Misty Lafon; grand children Jeremiah Wolfe and his wife Mary, Jordan Porter and her husband Jay; Jared Jackson and Shea Jackson; along with two great-grandchildren Ruby Mae Porter and Korban Wayne Wolfe; one brother Donald Ray Williams and his wife Elsie; and one sister Billie Jean Crouch.
Paulette was a special woman who is loved by so many, and will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home at 601 S. Tennessee St, McKinney, Tx 75069 on Sunday December 23, 2018 from 1:00p.m. until 3:00p.m. Friends and family will then immediately travel to Stoney Point Cemetery located 8241 CR 1095, Anna, Tx 75409 for a graveside service.
