Paula Anne Thompson passed away on April 21, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she loved so much. She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, on Monday, May 25, 1970, to parents Susan Visneau Davis and Dale A Thompson.

Her passion was her "family." She loved sitting on the back porch of her home, chatting with family, and watching her grandson, Emerson L. Wood, run around the backyard.

Paula worked for 25 years at Total Fire and Safety, located in Dallas, TX. She was a dedicated employee who loved and highly valued her position as Vice President of Operations.

She is survived by her life partner of 14 years, Joel Jackson; Two daughters, Ashley Linn Wood, Dustin, and Lydia Munson and grandson Emerson Linn Wood of Greenville, TX; Gina Tunnell, and husband Stephen of Austin, TX; Step-children: Devon, Jacklynn and Ty Jackson of Celeste, TX; Austin Walthall of Austin; TX; Sister - Kary Marie Wesley, husband Karl and nephew Holdyn of Leander, TX; Mother - Susan Visneau Davis and husband Jack of Sugar Land TX; Father - Dale A Thompson of New Braunfels, TX; Multiple cousins, aunts, and uncles from New York, Florida, Arizona, and Texas.

Chapel Service to be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 4323 Lake Rd., Lavon, TX.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life following the Chapel Service.

She left us too soon, but her light and laughter will be forever a part of all of us.
