Paula Louise Neely

Paula Louise Neely (Moore) was born on September 23,1944 in Dallas, Texas. Just short of celebrating her 78th birthday, Paula went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 12, 2022. Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years Bob Neely. She was also preceded in death by her mother Betty Woodard, step-father Fred Woodard and father Charles Moore Jr.

Paula is survived by her children Pat, Kelly and Robin, daughter-in-law Jeannie and sons-in-law Jim and David. She also leaves behind her sister Vicky Corley and six beloved grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren that will miss their Mammaw. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews that loved her dearly along with many life long friends.

Paula led a rich life and found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a homemaker that took great pride in her home and yard. Bob and Paula lived in the same home on Morningside Drive in Garland for 44 years. Paula was a devout Christian and her faith and daily devotionals carried her through all of life's sorrows and trials and sustained and comforted her, knowing that she would be reunited with all of those that went before her, especially Bob and her mother Betty. She loved gardening and had a devoted daily companion in her sweet dog Lacie that never left her side.

Paula was greatly loved and she will be missed by all of the friends and family that were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons 2925 5th St., Sachse, Texas 75048
