Paul Wesley Rigby

Paul Wesley Rigby, age 76 of Princeton, Texas, passed away on November 8, 2017 in Carrollton, Texas. He was born on February 10, 1941 in Laurens County, Georgia to Warren and Claudia Gay (Osborne) Rigby. Paul married Carolyn Bryan on February 5, 1987 in Irving, Texas. He worked as an engraver for Taylor Publishing for 42 years and was a member of East Fork Baptist Church in McKinney. Paul loved woodworking, and he made beautiful pen and pencil sets from wood. He also enjoyed working on automobiles. Paul’s family and friends will cherish their memories of him and will keep him forever in their hearts.


Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carolyn Rigby; daughter, Deana Rigby; step-daughter, Brittney Heathington; brothers, Jimmy Rigby and Wayne Rigby; sister, Mary Herdon; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, C.W. Rigby, John Rigby, and Glen Rigby; son, Don Paul Rigby; and daughter, Sheila Bailey.


Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at East Fork Baptist Church, 2430 FM 546, McKinney, Texas 75069 with Pastor Ron Hathcoat officiating. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery, Lowry Crossing, Texas.
