Patricia (Pat) Marie Luna was born on February 17, 1942, in Jacksonville, FL. to her parents James Levy Brown and Elizabeth Lorene Meeker. She passed peacefully in her sleep on February 16, 2025, at the age of 82, following a long battle with COPD. She was known affectionately as “MeMe” by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her Husband, Charles H. Luna, her daughters Rhonda Sue (Wallace) Limbaugh and Cheryl Marie (Wallace) Dowd and her sons James Alvin Wallace and David Everett Wallace and her brothers Randy James Brown and Bobby Keith Brown, and her sisters Vickie Viola Brown, Jackie Diane Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Levy Brown (Father), Walter Evertte Clyburn (Step- Father), mother Elizabeth Lorene Meeker, and her husband Robert Alvin Wallace of 18 years and her sons Robert Lee Wallace, Richard Devine Wallace, Aaron Christopher Luna, Brandon Anthony Luna, and her daughter Elizabeth Ann Wallace, and her brothers Riley Luther Brown, James Marshall Brown, and John Levy Brown.
Pat grew up in various places due to Walter Clyburn’s military career. She spend some years in Florida, Japan, and graduated from Wai’anae High School in Hawaii.
Pat initially raised her children in the Montgomery, AL area from 1961 – 1978, then moving briefly to the Salt Lake City, UT area until 1981.
Pat moved with her family to the Houston area where she met and married the love of her life Charles Luna where they lived from 1981 – 1992. Her family temporarily move to the Atlanta, GA area from 1993-1995 before settling in Allen TX in 1995, where she made her home for 30 years. Pat embraced the role of being a mother, meme, and great meme. Once her children were older, she would enjoy spending time at the family ranch, traveling to Italy, and enjoying family and friends. She has always been a strong, resilient women that would take any challenge that came her way. Assisting anyone in need.
Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and great grandmother. She had friendships around the world and will truly be missed. She loved serving others and above all, she loved serving the Lord. Pat was involved with Genealogy Indexing for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many years. She easily acquired new skills like sculpture nails, teaching, scouting with the boys, candy making, and perfecting her cooking skills.
While she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now with our Lord and Savior and reunited with those that have passed before.
