Patricia Ann Benefiel

Patricia Ann Benefiel, 72, of Garland, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Medical City in Dallas, Texas.
The memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 6821 Lakeview Pkwy, Rowlett, TX 75088. Pastor Terry Smith will be officiating.
Patricia was born in San Bernardino, California on March 1,1947. She graduated from Palmdale High School in 1965 and continued to receive a bachelor's in psychology with a minor in English literature from California State University of Northridge. She then went onto earn a PhD in philosophy from Texas Women's University in 1987.
Patricia worked as a Senior Citizen's Specialist for Dallas Parks and Recreation for 31 years and 3 months and retired in January of 2014. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and her bi-weekly lunch club. She enjoyed spending time with family and dogs.
Patricia is survived by her sister Bobbie Blagg, great niece Kristen Burrilll, great niece Tracy Bell and her husband Eugene Bell, their Children Maddison Stinebiser, Kyle Bell and Barrett Bell and other family and friends.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Charline Benefiel, her brother Kenneth Davis, her sister Connie Wolf, her niece Karen Curtis, and her niece Wendy Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Victory Baptist Church at 6821 Lakeview Pkwy, Rowlett TX 75088.
