Pamelia Dawn Shannon Young was born January 7, 1936, in Pecan Gap, Texas. She passed away November 3, 2019, in Garland, Texas at the age of 83.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Canup Shannon, father A. J. Shannon, and her husband of 67 years, Guinlan Doyle Young.
Pamelia is survived by three children, daughter Yvonne Young Hester, sons Ricky Young and Steve Young, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother Alan Shannon, stepsister Lori Shannon Parolini, stepbrother John Shannon, and stepmother Gloria Shannon.
The funeral will be a graveside service at Camp Shed Cemetery in Mount Joy, Texas at 1:00 P.M. on November 9, 2019. She was a precious lady, and will be missed very much.
