Pamela Ann Stromberg was born December 28, 1961 in Santa Monica, California and passed away from cancer on August 26, 2023 in McKinney, Texas.
Pam was born in Santa Monica CA, but spent her childhood in many different places throughout the U.S. She often spoke of the time she spent in Spokane, WA and felt as if that were her home. That is until she moved to Texas where she made friends and started a family. Although not from Texas originally, Pam's Texas roots run deep. She quickly claimed Dallas Texas as her home when she brought her 3 sons Brock, Matt, and Brennan into this world. She embraced her life here in DFW, claiming all the local sports teams as her teams, devoted Texas Ranger and Dallas Cowboys fan. She made a name for herself in the Dallas legal industry with a long and successful career at Haynes and Boone law firm in Dallas. She loved her job and was highly revered in her craft. Her career at Haynes and Boone spanned over 20 great years. She loved her work family and all her time spent with them. Pam had a strong will and an excellent work ethic. To describe her, someone who knew her could say: team player, fierce competitor, dedicated, loyal, honest, and driven just to name a few. Her spirit in the office was known to be great but when it came to her favorite job; mother, her abilities were unmatched. Our mom, Pam, will go down in the mom Hall of Fame! She was the best, her loyalty to her boys was second to none. She enjoyed supporting her sons in anything they did, she never missed anything. Pam never missed a function no matter how big or small it was. She had perfect attendance when it came to supporting her boys. She truly loved watching them play sports which came naturally to her as she watched her dad growing up play professional baseball. Pam was always in it to win it no matter what the game or event was. She truly loved to win, and win with class. Pam was a follower of the Lord, Jesus Christ and is now an angel in our outfield. A quote comes to mind when writing about our mom and it comes from the movie Sandlot (one of mom's favorites) " Remember kid, there's heroes and there's legends. Heroes get remembered but legends never die, follow your heart kid and you'll never go wrong." Pam truly was a legend and will never die but continue to live on in our hearts and in spirit.
Pam is predeceased by her Mom, Sylvia Lee Hagenson (Deeds) of Montana and her father Raymond Edwards Deeds of Ohio.
She is survived by her son Brock Anderson Treece and his children Nolan Anderson Treece, Camden Blake Burton and Connor Martin; son Matthew Bryan Stromberg and wife Spencer Hallie Stromberg and their son Rowan Daniel Stromberg; and son Brennan Michael Stromberg and wife Susannah Leah Stromberg.
Pam is also survived by her siblings Mickey Edward Deeds and spouse Teresa and their children Estella and Anna; Galen Paul Deeds and his spouse Marilyn and their children Caleb and Jordan; Robin Kay Deeds Kaufman and her spouse John Bradley Kaufman and their children Brittany Welch and Brody Welch and daughter Peyton Rose Welch; Bailey Aaron Deeds and his spouse Cheryl and their children Nick and Kayla and spouse Shaquan Pryor.
