Noel H. Schnell

McKinney, Texas - Noel H. Schnell III passed away Wednesday July 17, 2019 at the age of 63. Noel was born January 21, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee to Noel H. Schnell, Jr. and Mary T. Cattaneo Schnell.
Noel was raised in Memphis, and attended Memphis State University, where he completed his studies in business economics and finance. He soon moved to the greater Dallas area where he resided for the rest of his life.
A highly successful senior executive in the communications industry for over 30 years, Noel was an industry leader in product innovation, a patent holding inventor, and a recipient of numerous business Excellence awards. Noel was admired and respected by all who knew him; he reached out to others with a kind and generous heart; and he will be remembered for his warm sense of humor. In his leisure time, you could find Noel leading the scoreboard on a golf course or relaxing with a fishing pole in his grip – two of his most favorite things to do. Competing once in the GTE West Classic Senior PGA Pro-Am Tour, and playing alongside some of his favorite pro golfers, was one of the highlights of his many golfing experiences. He loved nature and was a long-time supporter of wild-life causes.
Noel is survived by his best friend, and wife of over 25 years, Debbie Schnell; by his sister Mary Pate and brother-in-law, C.M. of Nesbit, MS; his sister Florence Reinhardt of Tustin, CA; and his brother Lonnie Schnell and sister-in-law Barbara of Thousand Oaks, CA. Noel is preceded in death by a brother John Schnell, of Orlando, FL. Noel is also remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday August 19th at 10:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church, located at 1515 North Greenville Ave., Allen, Texas, 75002.
