Nettie Lambert Reynolds was born in Franklin, LA on August 17, 1940 to parents Kassel Joseph and Nettie Caulking Lambert. Nettie passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022 five days after her 82nd birthday after a long struggle with dementia. Preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Randy Kassel Reynolds, sister Pat Anderson and her brother Kassel Lambert. She leaves behind her loving husband Jack, sons Rex and Rick, daughter in laws Sherry Reynolds and Theresa Reynolds, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Nettie grew up on Weeks Island, Louisiana, graduated from New Iberia High School and attended the University of South West Louisiana in Lafayette. Nettie began dating Jack, the boy across the street while they attended college together and married on September 3, 1960. For work they traveled extensively, mostly in the South and Mid-West until finally settling down in Garland, TX in 1970. Nettie was never interested in a career, all she wanted was to be a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother and no one could have done a better job at this than she did. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 THIS SERVICE LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE FUNERAL HOME INSTEAD OF FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF SACHSE. CHARLES W.
