N Joyce McQueary, 66, of McKinney, TX passed away unexpectedly November 4, 2015 of natural causes at her home.
She was retired from Rene Bates Auction Services. She and her husband John had a successful insulation business before his death in May of 1999.
Born December 29, 1948, Joyce was the youngest child of twelve children born to Edward Richard and Eunie Lucile (Nichols) Shadix. Born in Corsicana, TX, she is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Edward Lee (Doodle) Shadix and wife Charlene, Buford A Shadix, Jo Ann Shadix Holloway Jones, Charles Franklin Shadix, Raymond E Shadix, Juanita Shadix and Carl Shadix. Also, sisters in law Georgia Shadix, Jean Shadix, and Ann Shadix.
She is survived by 3 brothers John A Shadix of Cleburne, TX, Earnest R Shadix of Livingston, TX, Richard Junior Shadix of Corsicana, TX and one sister Shirley Rutz of Garland, TX. Also sisters in law Shirley J Shadix of Amarillo, TX, Barbara Shadix of Ft Collins, CO, and Melba Shadix of Amarillo, TX. Seventy five nieces and nephews and two special pets; Taz and Caz.
Joyce was dedicated to her family and work. She never had children but was crazy about her fur kids Caz and Taz. She had a wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A scattering of her ashes will take place, with family and friends, in a private gathering in the Spring of 2016 at the family plot in Corsicana, TX.
