Nathaniel John Snyder "Nate", "Nathan", "Big Nate", died unexpectedly in Plano, Texas on Sunday December 10th at the age of 29.
Nate is survived by his loving Wife, Ashley (Golz) Snyder and their soon to be born child; Parents, Matthew and Lynn Snyder; Mother and Father-in-law; Ron and Dorothy Golz of Trinidad, Texas; Sisters Lauren Snyder and Margaret (Maggie) Snyder of Wylie, Texas; Brother-in-law Chris and Colleen Golz of Dallas, TX, and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John T. Snyder and Thomas E. Gibson.
Nate was born on April 8, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Texas when he was 10. He played football for Coppell High School where he graduated in 2007. Nathan was finishing up his bachelor's degree at University of Texas in Dallas. Nate began working with his dad at Equipoint Partners, LLC (formerly known as Adroit Mutual Benefits) in 2009.
On May 19, 2018, he married his best friend, Ashley, who is currently a nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Nate was a very unique and happy person. He was a generous, witty, and dedicated individual who loved life and being married. He was passionate about sports, his family, his dogs, Jax and Zeke, and winter camping in Ohio. He was a very active and fun-loving person and made life better for all those who knew him. He will be more than missed by all the lives he touched throughout his very short life.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, December 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons located at 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, TX 75048. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nate's life. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 14th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony"s Catholic Church 404 N. Ballard Ave. Wylie, Texas 75098. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Snyder Family Memorial Fund to assist Ashley with a college fund for "Baby Snyder". Please make checks payable to the Snyder Family Memorial Fund, c/o Frost Bank, 700 E. Campbell Rd., Suite 130, Richardson, Texas 75081.
