Nancy Jean Greiner

Nancy Jean Vest Greiner passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 2nd at the age of 68. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and Grammy. Nancy will be greatly missed by the many who knew and loved her.

Nancy was born on May 18, 1950 in Denison, Texas. She graduated from Denison High School and attended East Texas State University. She is preceded in death by her father James W. Vest and mother Jean Vest.

The Vest family loved spending weekends and family vacations at Lake Texoma. Nancy continued this tradition with her family spending holidays at the lake.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years Richard Greiner, daughter Angela Jean Brewer, son-in-law Blaine Brewer and two beautiful grandbabies Banks Henry and Sterling Jean, son Jameson Greiner, brother Ron Vest and Becky Miles, sister Luann Vest Dubach and Gary Dubach. Nancy held a special place in her heart for her niece and nephews, Chip and Noy Olson, Debi and Chris Colias, Blake Shelton, Landon Shelton and Luke and Todd Shelton.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 8, 2018 at First United Methodist Garland. Family will receive visitors from 10-11am in the Garden Room. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Learning Academy FUMC Garland.
