Myrna Knapp Peacock, age 70, passed away on June 9, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Myrna was born on July 24, 1943 in Cooperstown, North Dakota. She was a life-long resident of Garland, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Earl C. and Myrtle Knapp.
Myrna is survived by her husband Joel Peacock. Joel and Myrna were married for almost 52 years since married on June 29, 1962. She is also survived by her son Joby Peacock, his wife Michele, and daughters Brianna and Paige; her daughter Vicki Boswell and her husband Alfred; her son Jay Peacock, his wife Robyn, and their children Kaitlyn, Jamison, Joshua, and Joseph. Myrna's surviving siblings include her sister Phyllis Jones, her husband Howard, and son Kyler Wagner; her brother Leo Knapp and his wife Pat; her sister Lavira Eggermont and her husband Bill; and her sister Rita Lindeman and her husband Del. Myrna is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A family visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th St., Sachse, Texas 75048.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 13, 2014 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th St., Sachse, Texas 75048. Rev. Kurt Horting will be officiating.
