Myra M. Elliott

Myra Mae Elliott passed September 27, 2012, at her home on Lake Lavon, Texas. Born in Holdenville, Oklahoma, on May 16, 1929, to Alma and Isaac Fowler, she lived in Texas for all but a few of her 83 years.
Myra graduated from Kilgore College, where she was a Rangerette.
She worked in the dentistry field in Dallas, for over 30 years. Myra enjoyed playing bridge, fishing, reading and, she was an excellent cook.
Myra was a selfless, kind, loving, devoted, wise woman and the best grandmother to Darcy Olsen and Lennon Garon.
Myra is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bob Elliott; her parents; aunt, Dessie Lee Moffit Cobb; and, son-in-law, Alan Olsen.
Myra had a full rich life, lived with a deep generosity of spirit. It was hard not to like Myra; harder, still, not to love her.
She’ll be missed by her family, friends and neighbors. She will be resting with Bob at Restland Memorial Park.
Service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas. Reverend Sidney Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
