88, of Wylie, Texas, passed away August 30, 2013 in Plano, Texas. He was born June 2, 1925 in Wylie, Texas. Mickey was a lifetime resident of Wylie, as well as, a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Wylie. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew "Pat" Wesley and Lucille "Lucy" Hendricks Housewright.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Housewright; three daughters, Sherry Bacher and her husband, James, Vickie Turner and her husband, Michael, and Penny McDonald and her husband, Brad; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Drew and Mariah and her husband, Cody; one great-grandchild, Grace; brother, Buck Housewright; sister, Maxine Kinser; and numerous other family members.
