Mollie Jo Hyepock

Mollie Jo Hyepock was born September 15, 1932 to Goldia and Obie Rutledge and died July 19, 2022. She graduated form Whitewright High School. It was here that she met Bob Hyepock and married him in 1956. She received a BBA degree from A&M Commerce and received a Masters from Stephen F. Austin. She taught school in Sherman, Lubbock and Garland, she had a total of 38 years of teaching. Jo was a member of TSTA, NEA, Beta Sigma Phi, and a long time member of First Baptist Church Garland.

She is survived by her daughter Sally and her husband Allen Polk, grandson Austin Yee, granddaughters Sarah Yee, Lindsey Nordeen (Tanner), niece Rebecca Mizell (Dennis) and lots of dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Hyepock, mother Goldia Myrtle Rutledge, father Obie Wesley Rutledge and brother Obie Lee Rutledge.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 6 - 8pm at Charles W. Smith & Sons 2925 5th St., Sachse, Tx 75048 followed by a Graveside Service on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11am at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Tx
