Miranda Wood

October 7, 1975 — March 26, 2015

Leslie Miranda Wood, 39, of Murphy, TX completed her life's heart song on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Her beautiful melody began on October 7, 1975 in Lufkin, TX where she was born to parents Ken and Margurite Fratt. Miranda, along with her older brothers Bryan and Greg Fratt completed a trio whose combined voices would soon become almost as beautiful as Miranda's life.

Miranda loved music, and was an immensely talented vocalist. With such talent, one may think that music would be her first love, however, it was not. That distinction belonged to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who could absolutely be seen emanating throughout every element of her life. Because of this, she quickly began singing praise and worship music, where over 39 years of life she touched and ministered to countless hearts. Those around her quickly learned that when sung from Miranda's lips, what could be an ordinary song quickly took on new life that penetrated to the soul. It could be said that singing was Miranda's ministry, but those who have heard her know that it was much more than singing, it was communicating heart to heart.

Miranda married her biggest fan, Kelly Wood, and had two children Austin (10) and Ashtyn (8). Kelly prayed that their children would inherit their mother's talent, and it was evident from a very early age that they inherited her heart.

Along with her husband Kelly and children Austin and Ashtyn, Miranda is survived by her mother and father Ken and Margurite Fratt, mother and father in-law Bill and Gaye Wood, her brothers Bryan Fratt, Greg Fratt, sister in laws Carolyn Fratt, Misty Wood, Misty Thorson, Brother in laws Paul Thorson, Glen Wood, Jeff Wood, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless others that realized that Miranda doesn't have friends, only family that aren't related by blood.

Miranda is busy preparing a special heavenly encore that not only can, but must be heard live. She eagerly awaits each of your arrivals upon successful completion of your own heart song.

Open your heart, let it show through your life, and sing away.
