Michael Robert Bell

Michael Robert Bell, 54, beloved father, brother and friend, passed away of natural causes in his home on Monday, July 16th. Mike was born on January 21st, 1958 in Cornwall, New York to Robert and Patricia Bell. He graduated from Wallkill Senior High School in New York in 1976. Mike resided in Melissa, Texas where he owned an irrigation company and was formerly a Captain in the volunteer fire department, where he served for 10 years. He was loved by many and was the most generous man that we all had the pleasure of knowing. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Robert B. Bell and Patricia B. Bell and sister Eileen Lewis. Mike is survived by daughter Megan (Josh) and granddaughter Bella Rose, Stepdaughter Melissa (Chris) and granddaughter Aubrey, Sister Bobbie (Todd), Nieces: Melani, Heather, and Rebecca, Nephews: Christopher, Jason, and Cody, and several Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Plano located at 1701 East Park Boulevard on Friday July 27th at Noon. Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral home in McKinney is handling final arrangements.
