Melville Jane Bretzlaff
"Sweetpea"
10/18/1938 - 12/03/2013

Our beloved Sweetpea left us to join her husband Larry, Pawpaw, whom she was married to for 50 years before his passing. She lived up to her nickname with her kind and gentle nature. In her younger years she enjoyed arts and crafts of many kinds; sewing, knitting and crocheting. She loved being around her family and truly enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren with their activities and occasionally joined in on the fun, such as Dance Central for X-Box, coloring and building with Legos. Her favorite color was yellow and she almost obsessed about it in her later years.

While she was truly loved by way too many to mention, Sweetpea is pre-deceased by her son, Robert Houston Blackwell and grand-daughter Alicia Rene Ross. She is survived by her sister Kay Pierce and her husband Scott, her children; Albert Blackwell, Debra Phillips, Ree Merritt, Lynn Putchaven; her grandchildren Tori Coats, Albert Coats, Angie Blackwell and her husband Jeremy, Christy Beller and her husband Matt, Desiree Phillips and Damian Narvaez, Stephanie Rollo and her husband Greg, Bradley Burgdorf, Michelle DeJesus and her husband Robert Anthony, Greg Putchaven; her great-grandchildren; Trevor Ross, Tristan Blackwell, Tristan Coats, Taylor Hamill, Caitlyn Hamill, Christian Lopez, Ember Johnson, Felix Johnson, Brandon Knapp, Matthew Beller, Emma Beller, Danny Cox, Alyssa Rollo, Kelsey Stewart, Erica Rollo, Maya Rollo, Zachary Rollo, Diego DeJesus Alex DeJesus, Donovan DeJesus, Aaliyah DeJesus
