Melissa Anne Wojciechowski

December 13, 1969 — November 13, 2023

Sachse

Melissa Wojciechowski, 53, of Sachse, TX passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 13, 2023. She was a graduate of Tokay High School in 1988 and received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA in 1993.

She met the love of her life, Olivier, while living abroad in France in 1994. They were married in 1999 in California and then moved to France where they spent the first 15 years of their marriage and had their 2 beautiful children, Winston and Olivia. Melissa was a loving mother and devoted wife; her family was everything to her. While in France, Melissa worked as an administrator at INSEAD, an international graduate business school in Fontainebleau for 12 years. Melissa loved her years in France; she learned the language with ease and adapted to the culture naturally.

In 2010, their family moved to Dallas, TX where Melissa was finally surrounded by many fellow Cowboys fans. During her time in Texas, Melissa, along with her husband, Olivier, were very instrumental in translating into French many religious publications, including the original Understanding the Endtime Series, all of the Purpose Institute material, and many other foundational Pentecostal works.

Melissa was a beloved member of North Cities United Pentecostal Church in Garland, TX for many years. She served in several capacities at North Cities, but she was most passionate about Bible Quizzing. Melissa maintained incredible strength and was a source of inspiration throughout her nearly 11-year battle with Stage 4 melanoma. She was an example of true faithfulness and walked through storms with a bold smile, always encouraging those around her. Despite going through years of challenges, she remained steadfast in her walk with God. She was a true hero of the faith. She faced adversity with dignity, grace, and determination. What a legacy she left for her family. She was the life of the party and lit up every room she entered. Her laugh was contagious and her love for people was felt by everyone who met her.

Melissa is survived by her adoring husband of almost 25 years, Olivier Wojciechowski; her two children, Winston James and Olivia Renee; her father, Roger Wichman; her mother, Paulette (Mark) Ranuio; her sister, Krista (Jonathan) Barley; her niece and nephews, Ethan, Julia, and Austin Barley; and so many supportive and treasured friends.

Melissa’s life will be celebrated at North Cities Church, 502 Belt Line Road in Garland, TX. The family invites you for visitation Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6-8pm and service Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2pm.
