Marylin Yvone Clark Parsley died on July 18, 2020 from a long battle with Alzheimers. She is survived by her brother Quinton Clark of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Lori Aden and husband Bruce of Richardson, TX; daughter Sheila Parsley of Huntsville, TX; a son from her first marriage; step-daughter Robin Nikula and her family of Magnolia, TX; grandson Joshua Aden and girlfriend Leigha Gaines of Rowlett, TX; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents T.M. and Daphne Clark of Ennis, TX and her second husband Harry Edward Parsley and her last husband Tilden (Ted) Clark.

Marylin was born in Ennis on August 20, 1941. She was a stay-at-home mother and then earned her real estate sales and broker's license. She owned a real estate company for a short time in Pearland, TX. After closing her company, she managed several office buildings in the NASA area. She then moved to Huntsville and opened a family-owned trucking business called Dajen Transportation with her daughters for several years. She managed the logistics of the company. She finally retired to California around 2001 to be with the love of her life, Ted. She moved back to Texas in 2014 to live with her daughter and son-in-law when she started showing signs of Alzheimer's herself.

Marylin loved to garden and grow beautiful flowers. She played the piano in high school, loved to oil paint, fish, dance and travel. Her most memorable trip was to Egypt to visit a special friend named Amy. She was a very social person and was a fierce defender of her family. She cared for her mother, Daphne for 4 years when Daphne was suffering from Alzheimer's as well.
