Mary Alice Nutter Woolley, 87, recently of McKinney, Tx. passed over to her heavenly home on September 4, 2012. Mary was born to Clara and James Nutter on September 23, 1924. Mary Alice (known as Mary in later years) was raised in St. Peter, MN. She was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and also of the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School, Chicago, IL. She married Cloyd Forsyth Woolley, Jr. on May 7, 1960 in Littleton, Colorado. They moved to Southern California shortly thereafter, where they were longtime members of the First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills and Mary was active in PEO. Upon retirement, they moved to Albuquerque, NM and enjoyed many happy years there before moving to Texas in 2007 to be nearer to family. Mary is survived by her husband of 52 years, Cloyd, a daughter, Barbara Clare Rayle and her husband, Michael E. Rayle, two grandchildren, Timothy Hengxin Rayle and Esther Hengyi Rayle, and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Mealy Nutter and James Nutter, her brother, James Mealy Nutter and his wife, Donna Kennedy Nutter. Mary was a loyal wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. Mary was always willing to give of herself and her time and was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed. An inurnment will take place at the DFW National Cemetery on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to:
