Mary Christine Sutton

Mary Christine Sutton, formerly of Garland Texas, passed away on September 25, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born March 19, 1932, the youngest child of Walter Brum Jewett and Mary Ann (Beck) Jewett.

Everyone that met Christine, saw her for a sweet, loving person who was always quick to share her beautiful smile that carried the joy and love which defined her life. She carried herself with a quiet, humble strength guided by her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Christine was married to Johnnie Huston Sutton on February 18, 1949 and faithfully loved him for all their life together. She was a caregiver at heart and poured her life into her family. Some of her favorite memories were of listening to her sons play the guitar while her daughters sang old Gospel hymns. Her family will always carry the footprints she has left in their lives and will greatly miss her, but rejoice in the comforting assurance that she rests in the arms of Jesus.

Christine is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband and her 14 siblings. She is survived by her children, Deanna Watson (husband Al), Sherry Vannoy (husband Dale), Vicki Landers (husband Bob), Johnny Sutton, Larry Sutton (wife Layne), 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Monday October 7, 2019, 4:00 PM. at Charles Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, Texas
