Mary worked as the office assistantfor 20 years at the Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, and at several nursing homes after that.
The best years of her life were spent in McKinney after she met and married Fred Roe. She loved the early years of their life together in McKinney when it was still a small town. They enjoyed travelling, bowling, playing pool, woodworking, puttering with her plants, and caring for the pets she had through the years -including her outside birds! Following Freds' death, she found her niche volunteering at the McKinney Senior Center for the past 10 years which she thoroughly enjoyed.
If you wish to make a donation in her memory, two of her favorite charities were St. Judes, and Wounded Warriors
