Mary passed from this life on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in McKinney. She was born to Carroll & Mildred Apple Garland on March 16, 1926 in Terrell, Texas.
She had lived in Garland, Texas with her husband of 40 years, Bernard Joe Mason. Mary was employed by the Texas State Highway Department and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mesquite, Texas. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Joe, son Jeff Williamson and wife Carolyn, grandchildren Eric and wife Kelly Williamson, Candace Walters and husband Daniel, and Lynn Groat and husband Steve, great grandchildren Paxton, Colton and Austin, and niece Diana Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a visitation from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 18 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St. in McKinney, 972-562-7788 or cwsfuneralhome.com
