Mary Ann Kucera

Mary Ann Kucera, age 84, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, peacefully went to be with her loving Savior on Feb. 19, 2013, after a long battle with cancer and pulmonary disease. She was born on July 17, 1928, in Ennis, Texas, and was married to Edmond A. Kucera for 61 years. She is survived by 2 daughters, 2 sons, 21 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She selflessly gave her life to her children and family and modeled the love of Christ for them. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Sun., Feb. 24, at 2 pm at Woodcreek Church, 3400 E. Renner Road, Richardson, TX 75082, followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to West UBC, 6218 Auden, Houston, TX 77005, designated to "Mercy House" in the memo section. This loving ministry provided care, housing, meals, and comfort to her for over a decade during her treatment at MDAnderson Cancer Center.
