Mary Darland

On September 8, 1929 Mary Evelyn Rogers Darland was born to Rev. Earl J. Rogers and Mary Faye Rogers in McKinney, Texas. She was the middle child: Robert Rogers were the oldest, and David Rogers the youngest.

Growing into adulthood, she found love in a man who would forever change her life, Albert Nick Darland. After marrying him on December 30, 1950, they would go on to have 6 children and 20 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Mary (Evelyn) Darland is survived by her Brother David Rogers, his wife Jeanne of Plano TX, and her 6 children, Benny & Jan Darland of Garland, Mary & Larry Stone of Celina, Sherry & Rick Parks of Plano, Cindy & Dwyane Ward of Fairview, Roger & Debbie Darland of Farmers Branch, Deanna & Billy King of Winter Haven Florida.

Grand Children: Wayne Albert Darland, Billy Wayne Darland, Lori Martin, Kevin Stone, Christopher Stone, LaTisha Jones, Patrick McCarty, Clifton Parks, Derick Parks, Earl Ward, Kristi Arroyo, Colton Blaze, Bethany Darland, Michael Bilger, Brent Bilger, Veronica Darland, DeVonna Darland, Laci King, Kaci Hall, Victoria King.

She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Bro. Earl J Rogers & Mary Faye Rogers, her brother Robert Rogers, and her be loving husband Albert Nick Darland.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Funeral service will be held Friday May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am.
