Martha Lue Stickels

76 of Bloomington, Indiana passed from this life on March 26, 2012 in Wylie, Texas. She was born January 15, 1936 in Bloomington, Indiana to Fred and Mary Floyd Fowler.

Martha graduated from Bloomington High School. In 1961 she married Clyde Stickels and they were blessed with three daughters. Martha worked in the insurance industry and especially enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband were members of Richardson East Church of Christ.

Martha leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of fifty years, Clyde Stickels, her daughters, Cindy Jo Taylor and husband Mike of Garland, Terri Caldwell of Garland and Sherri Gilbreath and husband Alan of Richardson, and nine grandchildren, Michelle Taylor, Mollie Taylor and Kyle Taylor and wife Kyla, Emily Caldwell, Sarah Caldwell and Mac Caldwell, Tyler Gilbreath, Conner Gilbreath and Allison Gilbreath.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 27 at Charles W. Smith & Sons, 2925 Fifth Street in Sachse. Funeral Service will be 10 am Wednesday, March 28 at Smith & Sons Sachse Chapel with burial following in Lake View Cemetery in Lavon. Dan Stevens will officiate.
