Martha Rosa Olavarria was born on May 24, 1935, in Ponce, PR, and died March 09, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Martha, 76, started and ran a very successful clothing manufacturing business throughout the 70s in Elizabeth, NJ. Moving to Texas for a change of scenery in the early 80s, she led a successful career as Operations Manager for several Texas clothing manufacturers until her retirement in the 90s.
Martha is survived by her children, Israel Valentine, Martha Evelyn Valentine, Maria de Lourdes Valentine, Dominick Mario Valentine, Willie Israel Valentine, Sally Brashear, and Jaime Olavarria. She is preceded in death by her daughter Elda Nerfe Olavarria.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert, Israel III, Elizabeth, Elena, Melanie, Alexander, Lissette, Lynda, William, Samuel, Lauren, Tabetha, Katherine, Alexandria, Christina, Anisa, Willie II, Zachary, and Andrea II , great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family that will always remember her spunkiness and vitality.
She is loved and will always be loved. May her memory live long with the love of her family.
