Marshall Glenn Combest

Marshall Glenn Combest 88, of Dallas, Texas passed away December 29, 2016. He was born on September 4, 1928 in Collin County in the community of Cottage Hill, Texas to Everett Combest and Birdie (Vandeventer) Combest. He is survived by his sister Faye Woods of McKinney, Texas and brother Kenneth Combest of Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Birdie Combest and sisters, Aline Kindle, Lorece Davis, Dorothy Malone, Bernice Boals, Avalon Inez Harris and brothers Odell Combest, Doyle Combest, Donald Combest and Dorman Combest.
Marshall served in the United States Army as a paratrooper obtaining the rank of Lieutenant. He worked as an investment banker and retired from the Lakewood Bank as Vice President several years ago.
In retirementMarshall enjoyed living in the mountains of New Mexico, Colorado and Montana where snow skiing was his favorite sport! He also enjoyed the Texas coast of Corpus Christi sport fishing from his boat!
Marshall will be missed by his numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends!
