Marion E. McIntosh, born on October 6, 1933 passed away peacefully on April 8, 2020. She was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia and moved to the United States when she was fourteen. She met her husband John (Jack) McIntosh at age seventeen and two years later they were married at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Flushing, New York on June 14, 1953. They had several homes across the country including New York, New Mexico, Kansas, Louisiana and Michigan. They finally settled in the Dallas, Texas area. They raised four wonderful children: Kathryn O'Dea, Patricia Jaroszynski, John Charles McIntosh and Robert McIntosh.
Marion worked hard her entire life, had a truly spunky personality and loved making empanadas, meat stuffing and dinner reservations. She was extremely generous and never knew a stranger. She loved her family dearly and was happiest when she was hosting family gatherings. She was a proud mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and great-aunt.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Aida Ehrhorn. She is survived by her husband Jack (married 66 years); her daughter Kathryn O'Dea, son-in-law Stephen, granddaughter Kelly and her husband Mark Busi; and grandson Sean O'Dea, wife Rachel, and great-grandsons Seamus and Declan; her daughter Patricia Jaroszynski, son-in-law Eric and grandson Michael; son John McIntosh and daughter-in-law Susannah; and son Robert McIntosh; daughter-in-law Erin; grandson Jacob and granddaughter Sarah. She is also survived by her three sisters, Gennie (Fred) Woerner of South Carolina, Daisy Ortiz of Florida and Lily (Peter) Stettner of New York. She had numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews that she loved dearly. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas.
