Born May 23, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Louise Enslen Graham and Frank E. Graham, Sr.
Attended Dallas schools, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. Also attended Texas Women's
University and SMU. Married Robert E. McDonald in 1947 and he died in 1993.
Marie enjoyed volunteering with her children, being a Cub Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader, and held several offices in the PTA, as well as spending several years teaching 3rd grade Sunday school at First Community Church. She was President of the Roadrunner Wives, Facilitator of the Christ Care Group at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, worked with Meals on Wheels. She was a Realtor with Century 21 for several years, as well as helping her husband in the furniture business.
Marie is survived by her son, Gregory B. McDonald and his wife, Jennie: Daughter, Barbara McDonald Henry, and her husband Michael Henry. One brother, Frank E. Graham, Jr., niece Emily Stroud, and nephew Frank E. Graham III.
A memorial service will be at the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church at 9800 Preston Road in Dallas, Texas at 3:30 p.m. Monday July 28, 2014.
